Police have arrested a second man wanted in connection with a double homicide in June.

Kentucky State Police said Devante Hall, 24, of Dayton, Ohio, was arrested Friday in Montgomery County, Ohio, on murder charges in the killings of Brandy N. Davidson, 25, of Stanton, and Devin J. Payton, 33, of Georgetown.

Eugene Edward Wade Jr., 28, of Shelbyville, was arrested in Dry Ridge on June 8.

Hall and Wade have each been charged with two counts of murder and wanton endangerment, and two counts each of tampering with physical evidence.

On June 4, Davidson’s body was found outside a cabin off Ky. 11 in Wolfe County; Payton’s body was found earlier that day under the Slate Creek Bridge near Bedford Road in Montgomery County. WKYT reported at the time that the killings were connected with a fight at the cabin.

Hall and Wade were named as suspects at the time the bodies were discovered.

Talmadge Branham, 25, of Jeffersonville, and Carla Hunt, 31, of Salt Lick, were charged with tampering with physical evidence in the case.
