I-64 partly closed in Montgomery County after crash kills 2

Interstate 64 partly closed in Montgomery County Sunday afternoon because of a truck crash that killed two people.

A pick-up truck rear-ended and went under a tractor trailer that had slowed on east-bound I-64 near the 105 mile marker, west of Mount Sterling, local emergency officials said. Two people in the pick-up truck were killed. Traffic headed east was stopped and one west-bound lane was blocked as well while emergency workers responded to the crash.

No other information was available Sunday afternoon from the Montgomery County sheriff’s office.
