Human remains found in Henderson County

Human remains were found Tuesday afternoon in Henderson County, state police said.

A fisherman reported the skeletal remains to police at about 3:15 p.m. The remains were on Diamond Island near Geneva, in the Ohio River, police said.

Police said the body has been on Diamond Island longer than three years, and identification could take several weeks.
