Police are asking for your help to to fine a man who stole a gun from Cabela’s in Lexington. If you have information about either the Crime of the Week or the Suspect of the Week, do not try to take action on your own. Crime of the Week

This week’s Crime of the Week is the theft of a gun from Cabela’s in Lexington.

On June 2, a white man in his 50s entered the store. He pretended to browse for guns and had a store employee unlock a cabinet so he could look at a weapon. When the employee became distracted, the man put the gin in his rear pocket and left the showroom while trying to hid the weapon under his shirt.

Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the solving of this crime.

Suspect of the Week

This week’s Suspect of the Week is Luquan D. Hayes, who is wanted on charges of trafficking in cocaine and tampering with evidence.

Hayes is 19 years old. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds.
