Police say man wanted for animal cruelty, other charges may be holding woman against her will

State police are asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted on multiple charges and a woman whom he may be holding against her will.

Michael Lynn Grubb, 39, of Jeffersonville, Ind., is wanted on charges of cruelty to animals, arson, kidnapping, robbery and wanton endangerment, according to a Facebook post by state police.

Grubb is thought to be armed and dangerous and is believed to be in the company of Kirsten Edmondson, 45, of Taylorsville.

State police said they are concerned for Edmondson’s welfare and that she is “possibly being held against her will.”

Grubb is white, 6 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 280 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, a goatee, several tattoos and a scar on his forehead.

Edmondson is white, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes, as well as a tattoo on the right side of her neck.
