Fourth person charged with murder in slayings of Georgetown man, Stanton woman

A fourth person was charged with murder Tuesday in the June deaths of a Stanton woman and a Georgetown man.

Talmadge L. Branham, 26, of Jeffersonville, is charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the deaths of Brandy N. Davidson, 25, and Devin J. Payton, 33, Kentucky State Police said. Carla S. Hunt, 31, of Owingsville is also charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the case.

Eugene Edward Wade Jr., 28, of Shelbyville was arrested in relation to the case on June 8 and charged with wanton endangerment, two counts of murder and two counts of tampering with evidence, state police said.

Devante L. Hall, 24, of Dayton, Ohio, was also arrested in connection with the case, state police said.

Police found Davidson’s body on June 4 outside of a cabin off Ky. 11 in Wolfe County while investigating Payton’s death. He was reportedly found June 4 by a fisherman under the Slate Creek Bridge near Bedford Road in Montgomery County.
