Danville woman found slain in her home, car missing
A woman was found slain in her home on Old Hustonville Road in Danville on Thursday afternoon, according to Kentucky State Police.
The Boyle County sheriff’s office contacted state police at about 4:30 p.m. after the body of Rhonda Oakley, 52, was found, Trooper Robert Purdy said.
The manner in which Oakley was killed remains under investigation.
Oakley’s car, a 2014 white Honda Civic with Kentucky license plate 2113BT, was not at the residence when police arrived.
