Motorcyclist dies in Rowan County accident
A Morehead man died after crashing his motorcycle into another vehicle Friday afternoon on Interstate 64 east in Rowan County.
Jerry Thatcher, 60, died on the Exit 133 ramp, Rowan County Coroner John Northcutt said.
Thatcher suffered multiple injuries, Northcutt said. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
One person in the vehicle was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, and another was taken to a local hospital, state police said.
