Fayette schools call a non-traditional instruction day Tuesday due to unsafe roads
Due to unsafe road conditions caused by the weekend winter weather, Fayette County Public Schools will have an NTI (non-traditional instruction) Weather Day Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Students should use their Chromebook to participate in the activities outlined by their teacher.
District officials said employees should work remotely as much as possible. They directed students to a district winter weather webpage to get more information.
Several other school districts in Kentucky canceled in-person classes Tuesday because of unsafe roads or staffing shortages due to COVID.
