How much presidents of SEC universities are paid, and how UK president stacks up

Eli Capilouto, president of the University of Kentucky, is the highest paid public university administrator in the country, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education pay database.

Effective January 1, 2022, his base pay was raised to more than $1 million. Here’s how much other administrators in the SEC are paid, according to the 2020 pay database and other sources.

Some SEC presidents have been announced after the most recent Chronicle of Higher Education database was updated. In those cases, pay information has been taken from the presidents’ contract, when available, or other sources where noted.
