As high school students in Kentucky approach the end of the school year, now is the time for them to make a decision on their next steps.

Around 50% of Kentucky high school students will attend college after graduating, while 21% will enter the workforce and 8% will do a combination of working and attending school, according to the Kentucky Department of Education.

While it may seem daunting to figure out your next steps, the Herald-Leader wants to hear from Kentucky high school students about what you plan to do after high school graduation.

Whether you plan to attend a four-year university, community college or enter the workforce, we’d like to learn about your plans.

Results from this poll may appear in a future Herald-Leader story. If you have any questions about the poll, or would like to share a story about your plans for after graduation, you can contact reporter Monica Kast at mkast@herald-leader.com or 859-334-0595.
