The University of Kentucky has presented its proposed budget for the 2022-23 school year to the board of trustees, who will vote on the budget next week.

Included in the proposal is $17.3 million for employee raises, funds to develop several new campus facilities and the expectation of the largest-ever freshman class.

A 2% increase to tuition and mandatory fees has also been proposed, increasing tuition and fees by about $124 from last year.

The Herald-Leader wants to hear from people connected to UK about their thoughts on the budget.

Results from this poll may appear in a future Herald-Leader story. If you have any questions about the poll, or would like to share more of your thoughts, contact Higher Education Reporter Monica Kast at mkast@herald-leader.com or 859-334-0595.
