Berea Community Schools are closed Monday after pipes burst on campus, the school district announced.

There was no water available in the buildings Monday morning, according to the school district. The water has been shut off while repairs are ongoing.

The school district said it plans to make the day up later.

“We hope to get the pipes fixed today and be back to school tomorrow,” Superintendent Diane Hatchett said in a statement posted to the school’s website.
