When is the last day of school, high school graduation in Fayette County?

The last day of school in Fayette County is set for Wednesday, May 29, district officials said Monday night at a school board meeting.

Fayette County Public Schools met the required instructional hours and days for students without needing to use any snow or weather make-up days.

Fayette Co. public high school graduation time, dates

District officials also set the 2024 graduation ceremony schedule for Lexington’s six public high school’s to be held at Rupp Arena:

Thursday, May 30:

  • 10 a.m.: Lafayette High School
  • 2 p.m.: Paul Laurence Dunbar High School
  • 6 p.m.: Tates Creek High School

Friday, May 31:

  • 10 a.m.: Frederick Douglass High School
  • 2 p.m.: Bryan Station High School
  • 6 p.m.: Henry Clay High School
