The University of Kentucky Police are investigating an incident where a student reported their drink was drugged on campus, the university said in a crime bulletin issued Tuesday.

The incident occurred Saturday, Sept. 14, the same day as the home football game against Georgia.

The victim was given a drink, and later discovered that it contained a controlled substance, “which led to them becoming ill and receiving medical attention,” according to the crime notice.

Police received a report of the incident the following day, and campus authorities are investigating, along with police.

The notice did not list where the incident occurred, but according to the campus crime log, a drugging incident occurred at the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house on Saturday and was reported to police on Sunday.

UK Police offered the following safety tips:

  • Don’t accept drinks from strangers or drinks you did not see being made.
  • Don’t leave drinks unattended. If you do, get a new drink when you return.
  • Prevention, Outreach and Wellness Education Resources (POWER) offers drug and alcohol prevention and education resources on their website.
  • A free alcohol education course, AlcoholEdu, is offered through UK.
