With forecasts calling for up to 6 inches of snow Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, Fayette County Public Schools will move to at-home learning for Wednesday, Feb. 19.

The school district announced on Tuesday afternoon that Wednesday will be a non-traditional instruction, or NTI, day “because of anticipated snow and poor road conditions.”

The district canceled after-school and evening activities for Wednesday, as well.

The district said schools will be in contact with families regarding assignments.

Wednesday will be the sixth NTI day of this school year.
