KY school bus flips multiple times in crash. No students aboard

A Pendleton County school bus was involved in a rollover crash Monday morning, according to Pendleton County Emergency Management.

The crash happened around 5:45 a.m. on Kentucky Route 330 at J.H. Godman Road. Rob Braun, a spokesperson for the emergency management agency, said the bus driver lost control, causing the bus to flip multiple times.

Only the driver and a bus monitor were aboard the bus when it crashed, Braun said. They were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.

In a post later Monday, Pendleton County Schools said one employee had been released from the hospital and the other remained hospitalized but was stable.

“We’re grateful for the quick response from emergency personnel and will continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our staff and students,” Pendleton County Schools said in a Facebook post.
