Lexington schools put on impressive performances in the 2009 Governor's Cup state finals in Louisville Monday.
Paul Laurence Dunbar took top overall honors among high schools.
Dunbar scored 73 points, easily topping Johnson Central High School, which took second with 59. Henry Clay High School was third, while Lexington Catholic High School tied for 15th.
It was the second straight overall title for Dunbar.

Meanwhile, Winburn Middle School was overall runner-up among Kentucky middle schools and also won the middle school Quick Recall competition. Lexington Traditional Magnet School was second in Quick recall.
