Soon-to-be Henry Clay graduates encourage Breckinridge Elementary students

Henry Clay High School seniors donned their caps and gowns Friday, but instead of walking across a stage to accept diplomas, they took a trip back to elementary school.

More than 20 soon-to-be graduates visited Breckinridge Elementary School to encourage young students who lined the halls. The seniors wore signs showing what they would be doing after graduation, whether they will be going to college, joining the military or entering the workforce.

The seniors also gave the children high-fives and Tootsie Rolls to encourage to them to stay “on a roll” toward their own graduations.
