‘Private oasis’ — three properties in all — lists in Colorado for $21M. Take a look
An estate referred to as a “once in a lifetime” opportunity has landed on the market in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Located in the Denver suburbs, the estate is comprised of three contiguous properties across 14-plus acres and has a price tag of $21 million.
“The moment one enters this exclusive gated property, one knows they have entered a special place,” the listing on Engel & Volkers says. “This intensely private oasis is naturally landscaped with beauty around every corner. One of the focal points of this amazing property is centered around the large lake, which is fed from the two upper ponds cascading over the waterfall.”
Revolving around a 6,668-square-foot Adobe home that is 120 years old, the retreat was pieced together since 1994. Including the Adobe home, the property also has a greenhouse, stable and a 2,778-square foot Irish farmhouse.
“Everything that came up juxtaposed next to the land, we would try to buy,” the property’s current owner and Belize Natural Energy co-founder Susan Morrice told the Denver Business Journal.
“The last one was a large 5-acre parcel and that enabled us to do the major landscaping, which has included a big waterfall, a river, a lake, and it’s actually even in the last five years has gotten even more magical because Mother Nature has blended it.”
Morrice is listing the property now that her two daughters are grown.
“Being an empty nester, I want to be even more free,” Morrice told The Wall Street Journal. “I would say all the balls are up in the air, and I’m jumping into the unknown.”
