A very unique home has hit the real estate market in Boulder, Colorado, and managed to captivate a popular social media page in the process.

The home, located in Sunshine Canyon, is “the epitome of eclectic” and listed for $1.7 million, the listing on Zillow.com says.

“Inspired by the ‘organic architecture’ ethic fathered by Frank Lloyd Wright, it is a true collector’s piece,” the listing says. “Designed and built by Bill Bowen as his personal residence, it has had only two owners.”

Along with its exotic exterior, the interior feels like a trip down retro lane, so a potential owner should “be prepared to step back into the 1970s.” The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home with an outdoor pool has interesting features spread out over 3,851-square feet and is in “it’s original condition,” the listing describes.

The estate has fans on the Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild both gushing over the throwback décor, and, well, cracking jokes about shag carpeting.

“If I had the money I’d own this in a hot minute and it would be the greatest tiki house on the PLANET,” one fan said.

“It’s like someone took an abandoned gift shop and restaurant feature from an abandoned ‘60s theme park and adapted it to live in,” another said.

Boulder is one of the most populous cities in Colorado with 105,003 people as of 2020, according to World Population Review.
