While a pregnant real estate agent was showing a man a home in Arizona, he assaulted and tried to kidnap her, authorities said.
As a result of the injuries the woman suffered from the attack in North-Central Tucson on Oct. 8, she miscarried three days later, the Tucson Police Department said in a Tuesday, Oct. 18, news release.
“She has since been released from the hospital and is recovering with family,” the release said.
On the day of the attack, Donasti Davonsiea, 37, is accused of assaulting the woman “with a weapon” and trying to “physically restrain her,” Tucson police said.
After a struggle with Davonsiea, the woman escaped and call 911, according to police.
When officers arrived, they began to investigate and identified Davonsiea as a suspect, Tucson police said.
An arrest warrant was issued for him, according to police.
Police described Davonsiea, who also goes by Juan Nunley Jr., as standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He is “bald with hazel eyes” and has “numerous tattoos throughout his arms, chest, and neck.”
Davonsiea “should be considered armed and dangerous,” police said, and should not be approached.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
