Popeyes Cajun-style turkey is back – and you can get it delivered. Here’s what to know
Popeyes is offering its Cajun-style turkey for doorstep delivery as families begin planning their annual Thanksgiving festivities.
Customers can pre-order the holiday bird online for delivery, with shipping slated to start Monday, Oct. 24, according to a Popeyes news release. The order should arrive in one to three business days once it ships.
Online pre-orders are available to residents living in the U.S., excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
The Cajun-style turkey is also available for in-store pickup at local restaurants while supplies last, the release said. Customers are advised to call ahead and ask about pre-order availability, a company spokesperson told Fox Business.
Marinated in a “signature blend of Louisiana-style seasonings,” the turkey is “slow-roasted and then flash-fried” to give it its signature crispy coating, according to Popeyes. It comes pre-cooked and only needs to be thawed and heated before its debut at the Thanksgiving table.
Pricing for direct delivery starts at $94.99 plus tax, according to Popeyes’ website. Shipping is included.
The cost for in-store pickup wasn’t immediately available.
McClatchy News reached out to Popeyes on Friday and was awaiting a response.
