And one in particular for sale in the North Carolina mountains, has not only managed to check all the boxes that would appeal to a young homeowner, but it’s has a unique, vintage flair.
The stylish trailer, which is listed for $210,000 in Fairview, happens to be a Spartan trailer, which is a special brand of high-quality trailer that was made between 1945-1962 by the Spartan Aircraft Company, Tin Can Tourists says.
“The Holy Grail of Spartans,” the listing on Vintage Camper Trailers says. “This Mid-Century Modern one bedroom. Home measures 10 by 50 feet, and retains most of its original fixtures, including the iconic circular kitchen complete with the skylight and Sputnik light fixture. The original table, chairs and bar stools are included.”
The photos in the listing showcase a condensed version of something that could have been designed by Frank LLoyd Wright with its hardwood floors, curved kitchen counter-top, and 1960s appeal.
The home was featured on Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page that highlights interesting homes on the real estate market all over the world, and people became obsessed.

Fairview is about 10 miles southeast of Asheville.
