A Missouri lottery player was left in disbelief when she bought a ticket with her lucky number and saw the winning prize.

The woman bought a “Silver 7s” Scratchers ticket in Creve Coeur, according to an April 9 news release from the Missouri Lottery.

“I bought that ticket because seven is my lucky number,” she told lottery officials. “When I scratched off the first prize, it was $10,000.”

But her overall winnings were much greater.

After adding all the prizes on her ticket together, it totaled up to $77,777.

“I was so surprised I didn’t think it was real,” she said. “I think I’m still in shock.”

The ticket cost the woman $5 and the game was released on March 25. It has four more top prizes of $77,777.

Creve Coeur is about a 20 mile drive west from St. Louis.
