Two winning Powerball tickets sold in Georgia. Here’s where and what to know
Two Powerball players scored big wins in the Peach State, according to the Georgia Lottery.
Someone in Suwanee won $150,000 after matching four numbers and the Powerball with the Power Play option in the July 10 drawing, lottery officials confirmed to McClatchy News.
The lucky ticket was purchased using Georgia Lottery’s mobile app.
The player normally would’ve won $50,000 but spent an extra $1 on the Power Play option, tripling their prize.
Another winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Quik Trip in Ellenwood, the Georgia Lottery said.
The winning Powerball numbers were 7, 11, 12, 27, 46 and red Powerball 26, according to the lottery game’s website. The Power Play option was 3X.
There were two $1 million winners in Massachusetts and Washington, though no one snagged the lottery game’s $40 million grand prize, results showed.
The next Powerball drawing is July 13 with an estimated $54 million jackpot.
