A man won the lottery in 2022, Maryland officials said.

Now, his lottery luck struck again, according to a July 12 news release by the Maryland Lottery.

The winner, who plays regularly, won $25,000 each on two 50-cent Pick 5 tickets in 2022, officials said.

This time he won $50,000 with the $1 straight bet ticket he bought in Annapolis for the July 5 drawing, officials said.

“As long as I got faith and belief! I realize every draw can win,” the lucky man told officials.

The man, whose reaction was “pretty low-key,” used his friend’s birthday as the numbers, officials said.

“I said, ‘Oh wow,’” the man told officials about the moment he learned of his win.

The winner plans to put the money into savings, officials said.

Annapolis is about a 30-mile drive southeast of Baltimore.
