A poker player hit the jackpot at a Las Vegas casino when he revealed the rarest hand in the game.

It won him $517,439.

The local player, identified as Prentice B., sat at an Ultimate Texas Hold ’em table on July 17 in Caesars Palace, the hotel told McClatchy News in an Aug. 1 email.

He was dealt his cards at random and ended up with a royal flush, the best hand in the game.

A royal flush includes an ace, king, queen, jack and 10 — all in the same suit.

“This hand represents the rarest possible made hand in poker,” according to Upswing Poker.

The odds of getting dealt this hand from a 52-card deck are 1 in 649,739, according to the poker training site.

The lucky player has plans to use his prize money on taking care of his parents.
