Lottery ticket worth nearly $120,000 sold at Florida Publix. Here’s where
A Fantasy 5 player in Florida snagged a life-changing jackpot, lottery officials say.
Someone in Saint Johns won $117,381.50 after matching all five numbers in the evening drawing Thursday, Aug. 8, according to the Florida Lottery.
The lucky ticket was sold at a Publix grocery store on County Road 210 West.
The winning numbers on Thursday were 11-23-25-26-33, results show. Another Fantasy 5 player won more than $54,000 in the midday drawing with a ticket purchased in North Fort Myers.
Both players beat odds of 1 in 376,992 to win the game’s grand prize, according to the Florida Lottery.
It’s not clear if either winner has come forward to claim their prize.
Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize and are advised to sign the backs of their tickets, according to lottery officials.
Saint Johns is about a 20-mile drive southeast from Jacksonville.
