A Georgia Lottery player is $1 million richer, officials said.

Someone in Bloomingdale snagged the life-changing jackpot prize playing the 2nd Edition Billionaire Club scratch-off game, according to the Georgia Lottery.

The lucky ticket was purchased at the Joyner’s Corner convenience store on John Carter Road, officials said.

The player claimed their prize money Friday, Aug. 16.

It’s just the latest big lottery win for the Peach State. A Fantasy 5 ticket matching all five numbers won more than $908,000 in the Aug. 18 drawing, the Georgia Lottery said.

That ticket was sold in Thomasville.

Bloomingdale is about a 15-mile drive west from Savannah.
