An out-of-town visitor hit the jackpot at a Las Vegas casino after spending less than $1.

Now, they are 12,283.06 richer.

The player from Indiana sat at a Smokin’ Hot Stuff Wicked Wheel slot machine at Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel, according to an Aug. 19 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

They had a 60-cent bet when they hit spin and watched the symbols flash across the screen.

The player then got a chance to spin the wheel, which landed them the jackpot prize.

Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel is a casino on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas near the popular Fremont Street Experience.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
