Lucky gambler hits jackpot after spending $1.50 on slot machine in Las Vegas casino

A slot machine player hit the jackpot off a small bet and won thousands at a casino in Las Vegas.

The lucky gambler ended up winning $10,817.

The woman sat at a Cluck Cluck Cash slot machine Aug. 28 at the Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, the hotel said in a Facebook post.

She bet $1.50, hit spin and watched the symbols flash across the screen until she was notified of a jackpot win.

“Time to ruffle some feathers and celebrate!” the hotel said in the post.

Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall is about a 10-mile drive east from the Strip.

She’s not the only visitor to win a jackpot off a small bet.

Earlier this month, a gambler from Hawaii bet $1.75 on a slot machine at the California Hotel & Casino.

They won $891,775.72.

One person even hit a jackpot off a 60-cent bet.

The Indiana player was sitting at a Smokin’ Hot Stuff Wicked Wheel slot machine at Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel when they won over $12,000.
