A video shows a large buck wrestling to get free from a soccer net at a Maryland park after its antlers got tangled.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department received a report of an injured animal around 8:30 a.m. Sept. 29 in Annapolis, according to a statement.

When police arrived, they saw a large buck trying to free itself from the net.

“Easy, easy,” a corporal tells the panting deer in a video.

After the deer stopped jumping, the corporal moved toward it with a pair of shears and carefully cut the netting around the deer’s antlers, setting it free.

Police said “the buck appeared unharmed and was safely released back into the surrounding area.”
