Someone bought an abandoned storage locker in Oregon and made an alarming discovery, police said.
The buyer found what appeared to be human remains in a container in the locker, The Dalles Police Department said in a July 30 post on Facebook.
The locker was at a storage facility, according to police.

The identity of the person found dead “will be determined by the state medical examiner pursuant to an autopsy,” according to police.
In the release, police Chief Tom M. Worthy said, “every available resource is being brought to bear to investigate this potential crime and I have every confidence in the abilities (of) our detectives and our partner agencies assisting us in this investigation.”
