A woman accused of drunk driving told officers she wasn’t in a crash after flipping her SUV, California police reported.

Officers responded to a crash in downtown Upland just after noon Friday, Sept. 19, police said in a news release.

A surveillance video with the release shows a SUV drift off to one side of the street, strike a parked vehicle and then overturn.

The video shows police questioning the woman, who admits to driving the vehicle but replies “no,” when asked if she was in a crash.

“Officers learned the female driver was drunk (almost three times the limit), crashed into a parked car, and even forgot all about the crash during questioning,” police said.

Upland is about a 25-mile drive west from downtown San Bernardino.
