Who wants to represent you in Frankfort? Use these maps to find out.
Three hundred people have filed to run for a seat in the Kentucky General Assembly in 2018, including nearly 100 women. But which of those candidates do you actually need to pay attention to? We made two maps to help out.
All 100 House districts are up for grabs in 2018. If the seat is currently held by a Republican, it’s shaded red. If it’s currently held by a Democrat, it’s shaded blue. You can type your address in the upper right hand corner to zoom in on your district and see who is running.
State senators serve four-year terms, so only 19 of the 38 Senate seats are up for grabs. If the area where you live is shaded gray, that means there is no senate race in your district this year.
The primary election is Tuesday, May 22nd. Your last chance to register to vote in the primary is Monday, April 23. You can check if you’re registered to vote and where you vote here.
