Bevin administration website was link for job seekers. Now it links to anime porn.
A web address for a site Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin’s administration used to accept job applications during his transition period to governor now goes to a site that depicts pornography.
Joe Sonka, who writes about government for Insider Louisville, posted about the site on Twitter Tuesday afternoon, saying he had a “Bevin update” that was “NSFW,” or not safe for work.
Bevin spokeswoman Elizabeth Kuhn said “the domain expired after the transition period, and it was not renewed.”
The governor’s transition website went live in November 2015 and was used to seek applications for non-merit state government positions.
The Associated Press reported at the time that the website said Bevin was looking for people who “share his traditional values.”
The website is now registered to an organization named GMO Internet, which is apparently based in Japan and has had the site since January.
