Track new projects, development in Lexington neighborhoods with new website

LFUCG

Lexington residents that want to keep better tabs on development and new construction in their neighborhoods now have a new tool.

This week the city launched Lexingtonky.agencycounter.com, a new web-based program that allows residents to more easily track building permits, zoning applications and other changes.

Agency Counter is a new version of the city’s prior building permit program, BuildingEye, which many complained was cumbersome and not user-friendly, city officials said this week.

Agency Counter will also allow users to submit an email so they can get updates on activity by area, neighborhood or street.

The information is updated daily, city officials said.
