It’s time for another debate between the two candidates hoping to win the contest for Kentucky governor.

Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear and Republican challenger Attorney General Daniel Cameron will share the stage Monday night in Highland Heights at Northern Kentucky University’s George and Ellen Rieveschl Digitorium.

The 7 p.m. debate is the only meeting of the two candidates in Northern Kentucky, and it comes just four days after their first debate of the general election season in Paducah last Thursday.

The hour-long debate is sponsored by WCPO 9, LINK nky, the League of Women Voters and the Northern Kentucky Forum.

In-person attendance is not open to the public, but anyone wishing to watch can find a live broadcast or online stream from the following media partners around the commonwealth:

Evan Millward, news anchor for WCPO, will be the moderator, and LEX18 anchor Larry Smith, WDRB anchor Gilbert Corsey, and managing editor of LINK NKY, Meghan Goth, will be panelists for the debate.

There will be three more debates between Beshear and Cameron ahead of Election Day on Nov. 7.

Additionally, their running mates — Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman and State Sen. Robby Mills, R-Henderon, will also debate this month.
