Another election season has come and gone but reporters at the Herald-Leader are already planning for the next round of races.

Kentucky’s gubernatorial race will be one to watch in 2023, as well as a variety of statewide seats. Then in 2024, the country will elect a new president and plenty of local, regional and statewide candidates.

As we plan our coverage for future elections, we’d like to know what stories and content is most helpful to our readers before they walk into a voting booth.

If you need to refresh your memory, here’s a list of all the stories we did leading up to the Nov. 8 general election this year. Types of stories included were candidate profiles, surveys, campaign finance breakdowns, explainers, opinion columns and more.

Give us your feedback in the form below or email managing editor Lauren Gorla (lgorla@herald-leader.com) with your ideas.
