Man shoots at group of people setting off fireworks outside Kentucky bingo hall.
A man has been arrested in connecting to a shooting outside of a bingo hall in Rowan County, according to media reports.
The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. at the bingo hall near Farmers, just west of Morehead, according to WKYT. The bingo hall was closed at the time of the shooting.
A group of 10 to 12 individuals were setting off fireworks in a parking lot when a neighbor across the street fired a gun toward them, the Rowan County Sheriff's Office told LEX 18.
Two men were struck by the gunfire and were taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, WKYT reported.
Harvey Kissick, 63, was arrested at 5:23 a.m. and was charged with assault. He has been placed in the Rowan County Detention Center.
Police told WKYT that alcohol, drugs or both may have been involved.
