Kings Island offers free admission to school staff, teachers

To celebrate the beginning of the school year, Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, outside Cincinnati is offering free admission to teachers and school staff members Aug. 24-26.

All educators have to do is show a valid school employee ID or a valid teaching license with a photo ID, the theme park said on its website. Teachers, faculty and staff are all included in the deal.

Educators may also purchase admission at a special price of $29.99 per ticket (down from $39.99 online) for up to six family members or friends at the park.

Kings Island is open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
