Two young children shot in Eastern Kentucky
Two young children were injured in a shooting in Lawrence County Tuesday.
The children were in stable condition while being taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital, according to a Facebook post by Lawrence County Emergency Management. Weather conditions prevented the use of helicopters, so the children were being transported by ground ambulance, according to the emergency management agency.
The shooting happened on Ramey Branch at about 4:45 p.m.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police are investigating.
