Kentucky student charged after bomb threat against school bus garage
A student was cited for terroristic threatening after making a bomb threat Wednesday against the Mercer County school bus garage, Harrodsburg police said.
Police and Harrodsburg firefighters responded to garage after the threat was made at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. The roads surrounding the garage were blocked for about one hour, police said. The garage is located north of downtown Harrodsburg and west of U.S. 127.
The student was released to parents as directed by a court-designated worker.
Second-degree terroristic threatening is a felony punishable by one to five years in prison.
