Whose are they? Kentucky State Police release photos of items found with unidentified body

Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a body found near a cemetery in Trigg County.

The decomposed body was found in a wood line at a cemetery off Old Rocky Point Road near Cadiz Thursday afternoon, state police said. An autopsy was conducted Friday.

State police said there was no identification with the body, and they have released photos of a blue Reebok t-shirt, black AND1 shoes, two bracelets and what is believed to be a necklace that were found with the remains.

Anyone who has information about the identity of the body or who the items belonged to is asked to call state police at 270-856-3721. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling 800-222-5555 or through the Kentucky State Police app.
