Two women dead, one injured after house fire in southeastern Kentucky

Two women were found dead and a third had serious injuries after a fire at a home in Bell County Saturday.

Diana Poff, 75, and Willina Risner, 46, both of Middlesboro, were found inside the residence off Ky. 188 in the Colmar community, and Bell County Deputy Coroner Jason Steele pronounced them dead at the scene, Kentucky State Police said in a news release.

Wynona Poff, 53, also of Middlesboro, was injured and taken by helicopter to University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment, state police said.

State police said they were called to investigate at about 2:30 p.m.

They said foul play is not suspected.
