Report: 2 flown to a Lexington hospital after crash causes several injuries

Six people were sent to the hospital Thursday evening as a result of a car accident in Boyle County, according to a report from the Herald-Leader’s news-reporting partner, WKYT.

The wreck happened on Forkland Road, which is near the Forkland Community Center, according to WKYT. All six people were inside one vehicle. Four of them were minors and the other two were adults.

Two of the minors were sent to a Lexington hospital via helicopter, according to WKYT. The other four were taken to a hospital in Danville.

Their conditions were unknown. Further information about the crash was also unknown. Kentucky State Police, who are investigating the accident, did not immediately return a request for information.
