A woman from Estill County has claimed the $1 million prize from Friday’s Mega Millions drawing, according to Kentucky Lottery officials.

The winner has asked to remain anonymous, so the Aug. 1 Kentucky Lottery press release did not name her.

The winner bought her ticket from Q Zone 3 off Lexington Road in Richmond. She told officials the prize would be “life changing.”

“My hands are shaking,” she reportedly said when claiming her prize, according to the statement.

Her $10 investment in the ticket turned into $710,000 after taxes, Kentucky Lottery officials said in the press release. The winner used the “Quick Pick” ticket option, where the terminal chooses the numbers.

The winning numbers were 13-36-45-57-67, though the ticket holder did not match the Mega Ball to win an additional prize.

The retailer that sold the ticket will receive $10,000 from the Kentucky Lottery.
