Southern Kentucky teenager killed in ATV accident, state police say
A teenager in Southern Kentucky was killed early Sunday morning after being involved in an ATV accident, according to Kentucky State Police.
The accident happened on Jellico Creek Road in McCreary County around 12:30 a.m., according to state police. 19-year-old Ivan Vanover, of Whitley City, was involved in a single-vehicle ATV accident.
Vanover was pronounced dead by the McCreary County Sheriff’s Office, state police said.
State police are investigating the accident.
