Country star Kelsea Ballerini had high praise for Lexington after her visit to the Bluegrass State earlier this week.

“Lexington? More like Flexington,” Ballerini captioned her Instagram post about her visit, saying she “just had the most beautiful two days.”

Ballerini is opening for Kenny Chesney on his “I Go Back” tour, which stopped in Rupp Arena on April 25. The country star, originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, has released two albums in the last year: “SUBJECT TO CHANGE” and “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat.”

She also co-hosted this year’s CMT Music Awards.

While in Lexington, Ballerini went to Keeneland and spent time with a friend who grew up in Lexington, she wrote in her caption. She also posted about her song, “Mountain with a View,” being played on the radio, and included a video of her and Chesney singing his song “You and Tequila” while at Rupp Arena.

“Horses are magical,” Ballerini said. “Mountain with a View is on the radio? Kenny and I sang You and Tequila. ... Friends are everything.”
